Welcome to the Home of the Indepentent Council, part of the Student Government here at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Our purpose is to represent all Independent Students on and off campus. The Council represents approximately 70% of RPI's student body. Often we will sponsor Sheer Idoicy events as well as Pool tournaments. We are also responsible for allowing you to use the RAD money on your RPI ID card to pay for laundry services. We strive to do our best when any student, especially an independent airs a concern and we will act on those concerns in their behalf to our fullest capacity.
